Self Administered Medication (SAD) regulations have proven to be difficult to implement for a decade. This webinar will provide an overview of SAD regulations, operational suggestions and other reference materials to allow the facility to determine how to set up their chargemaster and ultimately how to create a claim for the patient. We will cover the definition of “self administered medication”, coding tips and OIG input into the operational facets of these hard to manage medications. We will also discuss some high level community concerns and pricing that will provide a full overview for 2021.
